Did corporate volunteer day at the RSPCA and it was a very educational experience on the history, the various functions of RSPCA and the amount of work required to maintain and provide support to the animals.
It is a newly renovated facility - modern, colourful and eye catching with lots of space. Staff are very friendly, helpful and informative. All the animals up for adoption are kept separately with the necessary supplies and very detailed and personable information sheet.
Went to donate various items collected at our local dog park. Its our local parks 5th donation to the shelter. The staff do such a wonderful job caring for and re-homing surrendered pets. I would encourage people to do the same. Its amazing how much will go for the care if these animals in need rather than landfill. Check the website for what items can be donated.
Best place to get your dream pet. Staff are friendly and give you lots of information. The pets were so cute and irresistible and you can even play with some of the pets. I loved my experience here. The walls were painted thoughtfully and you are greeted with a beautiful fountain when you enter. Best time of my life playing with animals. šš
I came here 6 years ago to adopt a kitten and back again vaccination for my new kitten. Iām so amazed how the place has changed so much, bigger, nicer looking buildings just like a hotel for the cats to stay with lots of toys. However, the animals still need lots support and a sweet home, I wish I can take all of them home.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience adopting an adult cat last week.
After our beloved first cat passed, we were looking for a cat with similar temperament : affectionate and gentle. We had mentioned this to the staff, and our new cat is exactly what we needed. Couldn't be happier.
The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are passionate about what they do. The staff were also very helpful and forthcoming in answering any questions we had regarding each cat's condition and needs.
The whole process was smooth and streamlined. The process, including viewing different cats and meeting them, took about an hour.
Please consider adopting and supporting this lovely organisation. ā¤ļø
Gave away my two cats to this shelter. Amazing friendly staff. I want to thank all of them to give my two cats a new life.
I miss them so much and really hope them have a decent and wonderful life even without me. Feeling so sorry and ashamed that I can't give them a stable life anymore. I'll miss you every day, Cooper and Curry. Thank you both for companying me for these tough but fullfilled years, making me feel like I have a family to come home to every day. Please don't fight with each other anymore. Have a safe, happy and long life. Bye Cooper. Bye Curry.

I took a stray kitten who was abandoned by his mother. He was eating and drinking fine, was happy and had lovely behaviour. He had fleas and ear mites etc. I was happy to find they were taking sick and injured so felt this was best thing for him.
I was told he would be assessed before a decision would be made. He was weighed when I took him in and I was informed he was safe weight, not too underweight. I was told to contact back in few days, if they cant find foster carer then I can take him back and give him to a different shelter or anybody else.
I called back but was told he was put to sleep. I could not understand why , i was told he was actually found to be under weight . This made me feel like they were not being honest and were covering up a decision they could not explain. I dont think they are doing their jobs well. He was such a happy baby and I regret leaving him with them. My mistake, never again.
Staff are extremely helpful. You can tell everyone really cares about their job and the well being of the pets. Highly recommend for any vet needs. The building is also extremely well kept and super clean.
